Max Cavalera is a Brazilian musician, founder and frontman of Sepultura and Soulfly. Born in Belo Horizonte, he became one of the key figures in thrash and groove metal during the 1990s. His music blends heavy guitar riffs with tribal rhythms and elements drawn from Latin American culture.
