Spite and Emmure embark on a joint tour in early 2027, accompanied by Distant and Mauled. On February 6th at Warsaw's Proxima, an intense evening awaits with no moment to catch your breath.
It took the Southern California-based Spite ten years to record 5 albums. On their latest, released in the second half of 2025 "New World Killer" (featuring guest appearances from members of Lorna Shore and Boundaries), the band proved they are one of the leading forces in contemporary deathcore. Downtempo passages mixed with frantic speeds, groove, and at times nearly thrash-like riffs, all seasoned with the nightmarish vocals of Darius Tehrani. Live, this has to be explosive, and you won't want to miss such a start to the year.
A few years ago, Revolver Magazine called Emmure "the most polarizing metal band since Limp Bizkit." Has anything changed since then? Not really, and that's not particularly important anyway, because Frankie Palmeri and his crew haven't altered their convictions and continue to give the middle finger to the world around them. This was never about complicated metaphors, but about the passion and sincerity the band spits out through an energetic blend of metalcore, nu-metal, and beatdown.
If Spite represents the pinnacle of American deathcore, then Distant is their European counterpart. The band, made up of musicians from Rotterdam and Bratislava, combines the dissonance-laden branch of the genre with brutal death metal and beatdown. Seasoned on world stages they've shared with names like Lorna Shore, Suicide Silence, and Decapitated. Their new EP "Rat Torture" dropped on May 21st.
We'll kick off this intense evening with a set from Mauled — fresh faces from Indianapolis who take their music back to the noughties and the MySpace-era deathcore sound. Don't expect polished passages written for algorithms here — on their latest EP "When Your Eyes Are Shut", the band ferociously grabs
