Mnozil Brass is an Austrian brass septet founded in Vienna in 1992, when seven graduates of the Vienna College of Music began playing together at the Gasthaus Mnozil, a pub directly opposite the conservatory. The group spans classical, jazz, folk and pop repertoire, delivered with a distinctly Viennese brand of dark, absurdist humour and full-blown theatrical staging - earning them the nickname 'The Monty Python of the musical world'. With over 130 concerts a year across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, they have built one of the most devoted followings in the brass world.
