Moonbootica is a Hamburg-based DJ and production duo formed by Oliver Kowalski (KoweSix) and Tobias Schmidt (Tobitob), who have been playing together since the late 1990s. They grew out of their own club night series in Hamburg and founded the Moonbootique label in 2001. Their sound blends electro, house and techno with hip-hop influences, and their four studio albums include Shine (2014), which reached the top 50 of the German charts. Over the years they have produced remixes for artists such as Robbie Williams, Faithless and Kruder & Dorfmeister, and play clubs and festivals across Europe regularly.

Moonbootica partnered with BAT brand glo™ for the NEX STAGE initiative, performing a special 'Most Hamburg Set Ever' event on 11 September 2025 at a secret Hamburg location chosen by the community.
