New Model Army are an English rock band from Bradford, West Yorkshire, formed in 1980 by singer-guitarist Justin Sullivan - the only member who has been there from the start. Their sound pulls from punk, folk and soul, and Sullivan's lyrics, which move between the political and the deeply personal, have always been central to the band's appeal. Over four decades they have released 16 studio albums and built a fiercely loyal following across Europe, particularly in Germany and Poland.
