New Model Army

New Model Army released their 16th studio album "Unbroken" in 2024. Work on the record began in 2021, shaped by a rapidly changing world and events in the band's own lives. Early on, they decided that legendary mixer Tchad Blake would be their first choice for the new album. His verdict after completing the work: "Not much hits me as real these days. New Model Army does it for me".

Beautifully recorded and produced by the band themselves, mixing this album felt like a gift. Full of guitars, cutting vocals and with the emphasis on bass and drums that defines all their work, "Unbroken" sounds very much like New Model Army - yet different.

Founded in Bradford in 1980, New Model Army are storming through their fifth decade with no signs of letting up. In September 2023 they released the live double album "Sinfonia" - a unique performance recorded with the Sinfonia Leipzig Orchestra at the Tempodrom in Berlin. The new studio album "Unbroken" followed on 26 January 2024. Off the back of a hugely successful tour, New Model Army are hitting the road again.
