Nichtseattle is the stage name of German singer-songwriter Katharina Kollmann, whose music moves between folk and indie rock. She draws on East German songwriters like Gerhard Schöne as naturally as on the American sound of Pixies, weaving personal and political themes together. Her double album „HAUS", released in April 2024, cemented her place in the German-language music scene. She also conducts a choir and founded a collective housing project.
