Nicola Cruz is an Ecuadorian electronic producer and DJ, born in Limoges, France to Ecuadorian parents and raised in Quito. His music weaves indigenous Andean rhythms, Afro-Latin percussion and field recordings into a style he calls 'Andean step' - a sound that moves between the dance floor and deep listening. His debut album Prender el Alma (ZZK Records, 2015) brought him international recognition, and his third studio album Kinesia (Nous'klaer Audio, 2024) marks a further shift toward analog synthesis and experimental breaks.
