About

El Búho is the project of British producer and DJ Robin Perkins, born in northern England and musically shaped by years spent living in Buenos Aires, Mexico City and across Latin America. His sound weaves Andean folk, cumbia, Amazonian rhythms and field recordings - birdsong, waterfalls, crackling leaves - into downtempo electronica, a style he calls 'natural electronica'. He co-founded the label and artist collective Shika Shika and is a member of DJs for Climate Action, reflecting a long-standing commitment to environmental themes in his work.
