Norbert Scheuer is a German writer born in 1951 in Kyllburg in the Eifel region. His fiction returns repeatedly to that rural landscape - the novel Überm Rauschen (2009) brought him wider recognition. Holunderholz (2023) continues his exploration of the Eifel, weaving together everyday life and mythical undercurrents.
