Paul Pörtner (1925–1984) was a German playwright and writer known for his experimental approach to theatre. He is best remembered for the interactive murder-mystery play Scherenschnitt (Crazy Scissors / Murder at the Hairdresser's), in which the audience participates in solving a fictional crime. His work is notable for blurring the boundary between performers and spectators.
