Pippo Pollina (born Giuseppe Pollina, 18 May 1963 in Palermo, Sicily) is an Italian singer-songwriter who has lived in Zurich since the late 1980s. Rooted in Mediterranean folk and the cantautore tradition, his politically charged, poetic songs found their largest audience in German-speaking Europe - Germany, Austria and Switzerland - where he regularly charts and plays around 150 concerts a year. Over four decades he has released more than 25 albums and collaborated with artists including Franco Battiato, Georges Moustaki, Konstantin Wecker and the trio Schmidbauer & Kälberer.
