About

PROFIVE (Süddeutsche Bläsersolisten) is a German wind quintet made up of five music professors. Stefan Albers (flute), Ralf-Jörn Köster (oboe), Albrecht Holder (bassoon), Manfred Lindner (clarinet) and Christoph Ess (horn) each maintain active careers as soloists and chamber musicians alongside their teaching. The ensemble carries on the tradition of the Würzburger Bläsersolisten.
