Saâdane Afif is a French conceptual artist born in 1970 in Hériménil. His practice weaves together visual art, music and text - he regularly invites poets and musicians to respond to his works, making collaboration a structural part of the piece itself. He is widely known for The Fountain Archives, an ongoing project that engages with the legacy of Duchamp's readymade.
