MICET
Muzeum Starego Teatru MICET w Krakowie, Krakow
The Interactive Museum of Theatre Education Centre MICET in the National Old Theatre in Kraków is a permanent exhibition in the form of an open workshop dedicated to acting, directing, and set design. Visitors participate in the process of creating a theatrical performance and build the work together with virtual artists.
Guests have access to a database of works by the greatest creators of Polish theatre over the last 100 years, made available through applications and tools based on theatrical craft. During a visit, you can mix music for Andrzej Wajda's productions, practise improvisation with Bartosz Bielenia, design stage space with Krystian Lupa, listen to stories about building a role from Anna Dymna or Dorota Segda, and study works by Jerzy Jarocki and Jan Klata.
Estimated visit duration: 90 minutes.
