Скриптонит

About

Скриптонит (born Adil Zhalelов, 3 June 1990, Pavlodar region, Kazakhstan) is a Kazakh rapper, singer, and producer who built his reputation in Russian-language hip-hop with the 2015 debut album «Дом с нормальными явлениями» - a genre-blending record that critics ranked among the best Russian-language rap releases of that year. His production-first approach, unhurried vocal delivery, and willingness to pull from jazz, funk, and electronic textures set him apart from his peers. In 2021 Apple Music named him Regional Artist of the Year for Russia, and he has since continued releasing music through his own label Musica36 and the band project Gruppa Skryptonite.
