Suede are a London rock band formed in 1989 by singer Brett Anderson and bassist Mat Osman, widely credited with igniting the Britpop movement of the 1990s. Their self-titled debut (1993) entered the UK chart at number one and won the Mercury Music Prize - the fastest-selling debut in nearly a decade at the time. After disbanding in 2002 and reforming in 2010, the band has continued releasing albums, reaching their tenth studio record, Antidepressants, in September 2025.
Suede announced Antidepressants: Expanded, a deluxe edition of their 2025 album due 10 July 2026 via BMG, featuring new tracks including 'Emotionally Unavailable' and 11 demo recordings.
Suede announced a co-headline UK arena tour for autumn 2026 with Manic Street Preachers, including a date at London's O2 Arena on 6 November.
Suede released 'Sweet Kid' as the fourth single from Antidepressants in January 2026, marketed as a double A-side with the title track.
Suede released their tenth studio album Antidepressants on 5 September 2025 via BMG, produced by Ed Buller; it was critically acclaimed and appeared on multiple year-end best-album lists.
To mark the album release, Suede held a four-night residency at London's Southbank Centre, including two nights at the Royal Festival Hall and a collaboration with the Paraorchestra.
