Swae Lee (born Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown) is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Mississippi, best known as one half of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi. His melodic, auto-tune-heavy vocal style set him apart from the start, and his writing credits stretch well beyond his own catalog - he co-wrote Beyoncé's "Formation" and contributed to Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode". The 2018 Post Malone collaboration "Sunflower", from the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, became his first solo Billboard Hot 100 number-one and one of the best-selling singles of its era.
