About

The Düsseldorf Düsterboys are a German indie-folk duo formed in 2012 in Essen by Peter Rubel and Pedro Goncalves Crescenti - both also known as the core of the Krautrock-influenced band International Music. Their sound draws on 1960s and 70s folk, bossa nova, and psychedelic anti-folk, delivered in German with a wry, literary sensibility. The duo released their debut album "Nenn mich Musik" in 2019 on Berlin label Staatsakt, followed by "Duo Duo" in 2022 and the "Trommel" EP in 2023.
