Thomas D, born Thomas Dürr in Stuttgart in 1968, is a German rapper best known as one of the four founding members of Die Fantastischen Vier - the group that brought German-language hip-hop into the mainstream in the early 1990s. Alongside his work with Fanta 4, he has built a substantial solo career, releasing albums such as Solo (1997) and Lektionen in Demut (2001), and collaborating since 2018 with Hamburg band The KBCS on a series of records that blend rap with rock, blues and soul. His 2026 album Neocortex, produced with The KBCS, is his first collection of entirely new solo material in over 13 years.
