Twilight Force is a Swedish symphonic power metal band formed in 2011 in Falun, known for their self-coined "adventure metal" style - elaborate LARP-style costumes, orchestral arrangements, and lyrics set in a fictional realm called The Twilight Kingdoms. Their four studio albums, from the 2014 debut *Tales of Ancient Prophecies* through *At the Heart of Wintervale* (2023, Nuclear Blast), have made them one of the most theatrically distinctive acts in European power metal. In 2024 the band underwent a major lineup overhaul, and in February 2026 they signed with Napalm Records, releasing the new single "Magic of a New Dawn" as a preview of their next album.
