Walk Off the Earth is a Canadian indie-pop band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 2006. They broke through globally in January 2012 with a YouTube video of all five members playing Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" on a single guitar - a clip that has since passed 175 million views. Known for genre-blending originals and inventive covers, the band has won the Juno Award for Group of the Year and holds multiple multi-platinum certifications in Canada.
Walk Off the Earth released their new album "Good Company" in 2025, described on their official website and social channels as their latest full-length record.
The band released a seven-song EP of semi-acoustic covers titled "Enter Sandman", featuring songs originally by Metallica, Crosby Stills & Nash, A-Ha and others.
The children's album "Buon Appetito" (Walk Off the Earth with Romeo Eats) was nominated for a 2025 Juno Award for Children's Album of the Year.
The band performed a headline show at Massey Hall in Toronto in November 2025, with a setlist spanning originals and covers including Beatles medleys.
Walk Off the Earth supported Lindsey Stirling on a 29-date US tour during July and August 2024.
