Walk Off the Earth is a Canadian indie-pop band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 2006. They broke through globally in January 2012 with a YouTube video of all five members playing Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" on a single guitar - a clip that has since passed 175 million views. Known for genre-blending originals and inventive covers, the band has won the Juno Award for Group of the Year and holds multiple multi-platinum certifications in Canada.
