Grosse Freiheit 36 is a legendary live music venue located on the famous Grosse Freiheit street in Hamburg's Reeperbahn district. Housed in a former cinema, it has been one of Germany's premier rock and pop concert halls since the 1980s. The venue features two stages — the main hall and the smaller Kaiserkeller in the basement, which is historically significant as one of the clubs where The Beatles performed in the early 1960s.
