The Great Gatsby - The Musical - by Claus Martin after the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald

In the early 1920s, young Nick Carraway arrives in New York as a bond trader and moves into a small house on Long Island. His neighbour is the mysterious Jay Gatsby, famous for throwing the most legendary parties in town. Nick is asked to help Gatsby reconnect with Daisy - his cousin and Gatsby's great love from his youth. But Daisy is now married to Tom Buchanan, who will stop at nothing to prevent her from choosing Gatsby. A confrontation leads to a fateful accident that changes everything.

F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel (1896-1940) about glamour, wealth, economic turmoil and social scheming comes to life as a musical. Author and composer Claus Martin adapted the story for the stage and set it to lively songs - ragtime, swing, Charleston - played by a live band, with energetic choreography throughout.
