The Irish Folk Festival (IFF) enters its 53rd edition in 2026 and has been touring Germany, Switzerland, and the Benelux countries since 1974. This year's motto is "Gold Dust in Your Pocket" - an image of Irish tradition as a source that grows when shared.

Four acts showcase the richness of Irish music before joining together in a grand finale session: Brian Leach opens with traditional Irish melodies and world-music influences on the hammered dulcimer. Brian Haitz and Brendan Mulholland play wooden flute, guitar, and selected songs in an intimate duo dialogue. The young band Astro Bloc combines two fiddles, drums, and guitar into a blend of folk tradition and modern dynamism. The evening closes with The Outcast Crew, who call themselves the "Godfathers of Punky Folk" - raw, energetic, uncompromising.
