Rahel Talts Quartet - Baltic-Nordic Adventure

Rahel Talts is an Estonian jazz pianist and composer. In recent years she has been active in Denmark, Lithuania, and Estonia; her tours have taken her across Europe and Asia. With her quartet, she has performed at festivals including Jazz Baltica, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Jazz à la Petite France, Nordischer Klang, and Jazzkaar.

Her current album "Back and Forth" blends melodic, acoustic jazz with influences from Baltic and Nordic folk music. Beyond her own compositions, she is drawn to traditional jazz and bebop - both styles flow through her work.

At the Dachtheater, the quartet will present original compositions and arrangements of Estonian folk songs.
