Caribbean Night: Drums United Concert & Silent Disco
Kurhaus Bad Bevensen, Germany
On Saturday, 18 July, the Kurhaus Bad Bevensen becomes a stage for rhythm, energy and summer spirit. At 19:30 the open-air concert by Drums United kicks off on the outdoor stage (weather permitting) - an all-star band of six master drummers from four continents taking the audience on a global groove journey.
The show features a remarkable range of percussion instruments: congas, bongos, talking drums, djembes, cajón, drum kit and drum computers. The musicians dance across the stage, throw in scat-vocal passages and get the crowd chanting along. A Drums United concert is a non-stop flow of energy.
The internationally acclaimed ethno-crossover ensemble has performed in the USA, South America, the Middle East and across Europe, including major large-scale events. The heart of the group is Dutch drummer Lucas van Merwijk, celebrated as "one of the great drummers of our time".
After the concert, the summer night continues. From 21:30 to 01:00, the Silent Disco (plus a 10 € headphone deposit) takes over the Kurhaus terrace - dancing under the open sky with glowing headphones, multiple music channels and cocktails in a proper holiday mood. Late Check-in ticket from 21:30: 10 € entry + 10 € headphone deposit.
Seating is not guaranteed.
