Helden - the Nibelung Saga as a Rock Musical

When Siegfried slays the dragon with an oversized sword - more out of helplessness than heroism - when the formidable Brunhild is tricked rather than truly defeated, and above all when she hangs the feeble King Gunther from a window frame, one thing becomes clear: there are no heroes left.

Johannes Galli and Michael Summ have taken the medieval Nibelung epic apart and reassembled it as a sharp rock musical. Boundless comedy collides with hard guitar riffs, and driving rhythms meet bright melodies.
