Description was written before the event

A tribute to Austrian poet Ernst Jandl - poetry meets swing.

Jandl's poems live through rhythm and sound; they reveal their full impact only in recitation. Florian Kaplick follows in his footsteps with voice, wit, and timing. Classic songs by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, John Kander and others ring out - in arrangements by Roland Schmidt.

Performers:
Evi Langer-Schmidt - clarinet, saxophone, accordion
Stefanie Rüdell - vocals & dance
Florian Kaplick - piano, recitation, moderation
Roland Schmidt - drums & arrangements
Sebastian Weber - bass
