"DASS EINER DEM ANDEREN SEINE EINSAMKEIT BEWACHE" - *sold out* — Zimmertheater Tübingen, Tübingen
Description was written before the event

The correspondence between Paula Modersohn-Becker and Rainer Maria Rilke.

A poetic and musical evening exploring a remarkable artistic friendship of the 20th century, featuring Christina Weiser, Christian Adamsky and Thomas Bockelmann.

CHRISTINA WEISER has been a member of the Staatstheater Kassel ensemble for 20 years. In 2017, the Oresteia - in which she played Clytemnestra - won the German theatre prize DER FAUST. In 2018 she was nominated Actress of the Year in THEATER HEUTE for her portrayal of Gayle/Laura in Nina Raine's play Consent. Until 18 July she can also be seen as Ariel in The Tempest at the Zimmertheater.

CHRISTOPH DENOTH is one of the defining classical guitarists of our time. He has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall in New York and the Berlin Philharmonie, among others. Since 2010 he has been a professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

THOMAS BOCKELMANN is a director and actor. For 34 years he has led theatres as Intendant, including 17 years at the Staatstheater Kassel. He began his career at the Tübingen Zimmertheater from 1988 to 1993 - the very place where an artistic circle in his life now closes.
