Schwabach trempelt - Trempelmarkt Schwabach

On Sunday, 18 October, the flea market "Schwabach trempelt" takes place in Schwabach's historic old town - from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with approximately 450 stalls. Only second-hand goods are offered: books, vinyl records, toys, clothing, antiques, decorative items and various curiosities. Commercial dealers and new merchandise are deliberately excluded.

The stalls are spread across large areas of the old town, including at Kappadozia, in Bachgasse, at Spitalberg and in Zöllnertorstraße. At the same time, numerous shops in the city centre open from 1 p.m. as part of a shopping Sunday. Restaurants and food stalls provide refreshments.

The old town is closed to vehicle traffic from 8 a.m. Free parking is available in the West industrial area, on Nördlinger Straße (B466) and at the BayWa car park on Angerstraße; from there a free shuttle bus runs every eight minutes to the city centre. Bicycles can be parked at the commercial school's schoolyard.
