Evening of Choirs

Three choirs from the Groß-Gerau district are joining forces for a varied programme. The event is a joint venture between the district of Groß-Gerau and the Sparkassen-Stiftung Groß-Gerau.

Capriccioso was founded in 2003 as the youth choir of Sängervereinigung Wolfskehlen - the Sängervereinigung itself is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year (founded 1851). Today ten singers perform under the direction of Yuna Jung. Their repertoire spans Gregorian chant, rock, pop and current chart hits; voice parts are reassigned for each piece, giving the ensemble considerable sonic flexibility.

Tonikum has been delighting audiences in Groß-Gerau and the surrounding region for over 30 years. Around 35 singers perform rock and pop songs from the past five decades in four- to six-part arrangements - including original arrangements by choir director Ulrich Diehl as well as arrangements by the King's Singers and Pentatonix.

Vocalensemble Rüsselsheim has been singing for nearly 40 years under the motto "We make music - and we do it from the heart." About 40 singers of various ages maintain a broad repertoire ranging from classical choral music to modern arrangements, in German, English, French and Latin. Since 2025 the ensemble has been led by Konstantin Karklisiyski.

Doors open at 16:00 with a sparkling wine reception. Hall opens at 16:45. Free seating.
