With his new album "Glück auf den Strassen", Max Giesinger takes his audience on a musical road trip back to the roots of the motivation that first drew him to making music. The title track carries the easy feel of summer and - like every other song on the record - is made to be shared live under an open sky. 2026 also marks the 10th anniversary of his breakthrough single "80 Millionen" and the album "Der Junge, der rennt", so there is plenty to celebrate across these warm summer evenings.

Max Giesinger's journey from his debut "Laufen Lernen", through "80 Millionen", "Wenn sie tanzt", "Legenden", "Auf das, was da noch kommt" and "Irgendwann ist jetzt", to "Menschen" and "Wimpernschlag" - his duet with Johannes Oerding - is a remarkable one. The title of his second album "Der Junge, der rennt" was almost a manifesto for the past decade of his life: more than 800 concerts played, more time on the road than at home, stints as a coach on "The Voice Kids" and "Sing meinen Song", then back into the studio, new songs recorded, and out again onto ever-larger stages and arenas - always in one direction: full speed ahead.

Now, for the first time, Max Giesinger is pausing to reflect on his steep career and ask how it all came about. His answer is "Glück auf den Strassen" - new sounds, a generous empathy for the human condition, and an invitation to fans to join him on a road trip back to the original feeling that brought him to music in the first place. From blasting songs in a convertible with his mother, to busking in the pedestrian zones of Karlsruhe and Sydney, to his life as a touring musician today - the freedom of being on the move runs through everything he does.
