Guitarist, composer and sound artist Falk Zenker, based near Weimar and in the Fichtelgebirge, was recently recognized by the specialist journal Akustik Gitarre as one of "the most creative nylon guitarists in the country". For three decades now, he has captivated audiences and critics with his virtuosic guitar playing that bridges medieval music, classical repertoire, flamenco, contemporary world music, improvisation and live looped beats.

Zenker performs and improvises music from his latest album Innenwege as well as his earlier solo albums Estampie, Falkenflug, Gedankenreise and Wellentanz. Using sophisticated live looping, he multiplies his guitar playing into orchestral, pulsating soundscapes - as the first German acoustic guitarist to do so on stage since 1997, he celebrates this distinctive approach.
