Männergrippe - Up Platt - Premiere — Freilichtbühne Kahle Wart, Hüllhorst
Description was written before the event

A Low German comedy about a weekend that spirals completely out of control: Anna looks forward to relaxing days with her childhood friend, Alexander to a cosy men's weekend - but then he falls victim to the dreaded man flu. What follows is both dramatic and absurd suffering on the home sofa, accompanied by well-meaning care, plenty of advice, and ever-new complications. Friends, family, and medical "experts" interfere, harmless situations get out of hand, and a simple cold becomes a matter of life and death.

The play is based on the original version by Jennifer Hülser, translated into Low German by Benita Brunnert and into local dialect by Gerda Arlt, Helmut Becker, and Jens Osterloh. Published by Plausus Theaterverlag, directed by Jürgen Wiemer. In the end, one crucial question remains: Lierbest diu näo or steffst diu ol?

Admission: adults 12.00 €, reduced 10.00 € (disabled persons, students, children up to 18 years). Children under 11 years enter free when accompanied by a paying adult.
