Leipziger Pfeffermühle - "Harakiri to go" — Freilichtbühne Born, Born a. Darß
Description was written before the event

The latest offering from the spice box of the Leipziger Pfeffermühle. We're locked up. In laughter jail. The world is holding its sides laughing - Germany's having fun again. We're pioneers on the warpath. The state forges ahead, but citizens can't keep up. Everyone has an opinion, but nobody understands anything. We come up with all sorts of things - including our bridges. Once railways were valued, now we value travel times. Email, electric cars, electric egotists. We keep going as if there's no tomorrow. Because it's not evening yet for all days. Citizens sweeten their lives with nonsense. Government helpless - people without enthusiasm. Democracy runs to the fields and the farmer hits the road. Boomers step into the shadows and youth has no clue. We're waiting for an economic miracle and experiencing our own blue one. Some feel like strangers in their own country, others behave as if at home. The chancellor shakes hands, the people shake their heads. Not with us - but with whom then? Jokeless? Quite the opposite. The Pfeffermühle coughs at the spirit of the times. Because coughing is just laughter stuck in our throats.

HARAKIRI TO GO is a show that transforms crisis into comic crisis. Drops of humor against headache. Giggles for peace. Playfulness, musicality, wit and wisdom. Young, cheeky and unvarnished. Have a good laugh. We look forward to your visit.
