Ringlstetter & Zinner — Ortspitze Passau, Passau
Description was written before the event

Elvis Presley signed his first record deal at a kitchen table, Apple was founded in a kitchen, and every decent party ends up there sooner or later. On top of that, Hannes Ringlstetter and Stephan Zinner genuinely love eating, drinking and cooking. So their fourth joint stage programme almost inevitably revolves around encounters at the stove, culinary disasters and the big conversations that so often happen in the kitchen. By turns sharp and reflective, but always with a wink, they take audiences on a tour through the world of everyday cooking - where people improvise, laugh and philosophise.

They play new songs, read from their latest books - "Prachtexemplar" (Zinner) and "Ein Steinpilz für die Ewigkeit" (Ringlstetter) - as well as other texts. Above all, the show leaves plenty of room for the spontaneous and the unexpected. A programme that leaves you wanting more and proves that life is often decided somewhere between the fridge and the hob.

For their performances and easy-going style, Hannes and Stephan were awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize in the music category in 2019.

Hannes Ringlstetter, born in 1970 in Munich, is a German cabaret artist, actor, musician, TV host and author who grew up in Lower Bavaria. After studying German literature and history, he launched his career in music with the band Schinderhannes. He became widely known through acting roles - including the TV series Hubert ohne Staller - and as the host of his own late-night show on Bayerischer Rundfunk. He tours with his band across the German-speaking world and also performs solo programmes.

Stephan Zinner, born in 1974, is an actor, author, musician and cabaret artist. He performed on the stages of the Landestheater Salzburg and the Kammerspiele in Munich, and for an unforgettable fifteen years in the Singspiel.
