Are legends a thing of the past? Willi Keller, author of countless books on sagas, and Michaela Neuberger, known as storyteller "Zetzel" from Nordrach, answer this question with a resounding "No".
Keller, a former news editor at SWR, brings all the eerie and romantic elements of sagas to life in an inimitable, no-nonsense style. Michaela Neuberger, embodying the role of peasant woman Zetzel, shows complete emotional engagement - the audience never knows what comes next. The listeners are drawn directly into the action.
To ensure the fear factor doesn't trigger panic attacks, both have enlisted Oberkirch concert guitarist Klaus Leopold. With carefully selected music and small improvisations between the tales, he provides reassurance - so that listeners won't fear legendary figures like the Moospfaff or will-o'-the-wisps on their way home.
