Criminal defence lawyer Tessa Ensler is regarded as one of the best in her field - her specialty is defending men accused of rape. With virtuosity, she undermines the credibility of victims. Until she herself becomes a victim and confronts her own methods.

A monologue that asks not about law, but about justice. Australian author Suzie Miller, who previously worked as a human rights and criminal lawyer, created a play that has been performed worldwide since 2019. It has won numerous awards, been published as a novel, and is currently being adapted for film. Hopefully it will contribute to ensuring that "shame finally changes sides" (Gisèle Pelicot).
