OPENING CONCERT: DANCE!
UWAGA! feat. Hanke Brothers

This concert marks the opening of the New Classical Music Festival 2026. The quartet UWAGA! - two violins, accordion and double bass - moves through centuries and styles, drawing on classical, jazz, pop and world music: familiar sonic worlds taken apart and reassembled.

The programme DANCE! takes groove as the common thread running through all dance music. UWAGA! shifts between classical ballet music, bouncy rhythms and disco energy - sometimes subtle and fluid, sometimes wild and stomping, always virtuosic and with a sense of humour.

The Hanke Brothers join as special guests. Two ensembles, eight musicians, one shared drive: to pull classical music out of its familiar grooves and open up new sonic territory.
