Papis Pumpels

They love Schlager music... and of course Lake Constance - and from 2026, the Honberg too. This is where the cult band from the lake celebrates its festival premiere in July. They play German Schlager because they genuinely love it, and because this music brings just as much joy to audiences of every age - grandkids and grandmas rocking out together!

For nearly two decades, Papi and his eight Pumpels have been winning over crowds. Countless concerts across Germany, special events like the legendary Schlagerboote on Lake Constance, and many TV appearances - they spread good vibes and get the audience going every time. Now, for the first time, at Honberg-Sommer.

The Pumpels are not your typical party band or cover act. They put their own spin on 1970s Schlager hits, "verpumpeln" the songs. Their shows are a Schlager spectacular with the feel of a real concert. The repertoire draws from the vivid world of seventies Schlager - hits by Udo Jürgens, Howard Carpendale, Roland Kaiser, Rudi Carrell, Karat, and of course their own cult favourite "Wir lieben den Bodensee". Every Pumpelnacht is a colourful mix of top-notch music and plenty of on-stage action and fun!
