"Zwangsurlaub" - a homage to Lisl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin

Karl and Lisl have reached the autumn of their relationship, but a summer holiday brings them an unexpected second spring. The well-rehearsed couple tries to navigate the pitfalls of vacation life, only to get tangled up in their own mental traps. In this production, Parktheater Edelbruch pays tribute to the Valentin-style humour that so often tips into the absurd. Kristin Giertler and Thomas Kornmann step into the stage personas of Karl Valentin and Lisl Karlstadt - without the Bavarian dialect, but with plenty of twisted logic and wordplay.
