In October 2025, Seraph Brass was already crossing the Atlantic when their plane had to turn back to Washington due to a technical fault - cancelling both the workshop at the music academy and a concert with over 500 tickets sold. This is the rescheduled date.
Mary Elizabeth Bowden, Morgen Low, Layan Atieh, Lauren Casey-Clyde and Robyn Black play trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba - holding their own as a quintet in a brass world that remains largely male-dominated. Invited by the Positively Brass & Percussion festival at the Musikhochschule Trossingen, their programme ranges from Grieg, Verdi, W. A. Mozart, Liszt, Puccini and Borodin to Jeff Scott, Bernstein and Bizet, whose "Session de Carmen" closes the evening.
