Shanty-Chor Benthullen-Harbern

From sea to sea - from harbour to harbour: the Shanty-Chor Benthullen-Harbern invites you on a musical voyage with sea shanties, sailors' songs and tales from the waterfront.

Founded on 2 January 1984, the choir has 35 active singers and a repertoire of more than 95 shanties and nautical songs. They are accompanied by a rhythm section featuring accordion, two guitars and additional percussion.

Up to twelve soloists bring the programme to life with well-known songs such as "La Paloma", "Auf der Reeperbahn nachts um halb eins" and "Rolling home".
