Cathrin Pfeifer has long been counted among Europe's established ethno-, jazz- and world-music accordionists. She is invited to major festivals worldwide, performs concerts from Brazil to Hong Kong, from Mozambique to Siberia - sometimes together with local musicians - composes film scores and has released 8 CDs.

She developed her distinctive sound through classical accordion studies, tours across four continents, and work in a wide range of genres and ensembles.
