Description was written before the event
The Badischer Jakobusweg runs from Laudenbach through Ettlingen to Schutterwald near Breisach. It is not a modern invention but a revival of the medieval pilgrimage route from the Rhine plain, relocated onto hiking trails in the foothills. The yellow scallop shell on a blue background marks the path continuously through Ettlingen.
This guided walk covers and explains a section of the Badischer Jakobusweg within the Ettlingen municipal area.
Duration: 60 minutes - Tickets: 5 € (also available on the spot from the guide)
Meeting point: Vogelsangweg (wayside cross at the Kaisereiche, car park at the forest edge)
End point: Wilhelmstraße (wayside cross from 1881)
