Udo Jay with "Udo Jürgens fast live"

Under the title "Udo Jürgens - fast live", Udo Jay brings the chansonnier's repertoire back to the stage. The programme spans five decades - from orchestral numbers like "Ich war noch niemals in New York" to ballads such as "Ihr von morgen" and "Griechischer Wein".

Jay describes his approach this way: "It's not about playing a role - it's about keeping the feeling and message of his songs alive. His music is a gift we celebrate together." At the end of the show, he returns to the grand piano in a white bathrobe for the encores, just as Udo Jürgens always did.
