Michaela Münzberg didn't start travelling until her mid-forties. Her first ticket took her to Bali - originally planned as a relaxing beach holiday, but the Island of the Gods sparked something unexpected in her.

Nepal captured her heart most of all. A fear of heights and a strong preference for comfort were hardly ideal for tackling the roof of the world - but there was one specific draw: landing at the world's most dangerous airport.
