On this walking tour through the historic centre, local guides take you through the history of a former Hanseatic and brewing town. You'll learn why Uelzen's earliest settlers abandoned their original settlement and started afresh, how devastating fires broke out, how the plague wiped out much of the population - and how Uelzen rebuilt itself after each of these disasters.
