Long Night of Theatre - The Night of Fate - Opera Drama

For the 20th anniversary of Synchrontheater, the two Netzeband theatre-makers have devised something out of the ordinary: the masks are to "learn to sing". Their SONGDRAMA format makes the leap into opera - and the manor park itself becomes the stage.

In the dramatic scenario, a new hotel is to be built on this very site; trees are to be felled, nature and art swept aside in the name of profit. But as old certainties begin to crumble, the park stirs: trees start to sing, the graves of former counts beneath the amphitheatre open up, and figures from the past lament their arias.

The theatre spirits are restless too - and so it may happen that one or another character from the Milchwald suddenly reaches for the high notes.
